There are some arguments in support of possible recruitment rate of hydrocarbon reserves. Discussion on the topic is very interesting because it is intertwined with other fundamental issues, concerned with different views on the development of the earth's crust and the planet as a whole, on the oil and water origin, as well as different approaches to oil migrationand formation of hydrocarbon deposits. One of the key questions of the discussion is the key role of the Earth degassing - the point of view, accepted by most of researchers. But there are different opinions, concerning with root causes of the global degassing andits consequences. The author raises the possibility of recruitment rate of hydrocarbon reserves, based on the criteria of likelihood analysis.
Materials and methods
Preparing the article, the author used his own database and a variety of publications, concerning with oil and gas basins. Alternatively, the comparison of conditions of hydrocarbon accumulations in major oil and gas basins of the world, as well as the degree of possibility of recruitment rate of oil and gas reserves, is described in the article.
Results
The new approach of zoning oil and gas basins, due to their confi ss to the area or paleo-zone of the Earth degassing, in order to determine hydrocarbon prospectivity for possible recruitment rate of hydrocarbon reserves, is described in the article.
Сonclusions
Preliminary review and analysis of available geological and geophysicalinformation for various oil and gas basins of the world, taking into account the conceptual foundation of the Earth degassing, including hypothesis hydride Earth, reveals connection between some geological, tectonic, morphologicaland other global features of degassing; keeping in mind peculiarities of oil and gas basins and possible recruitment rate of hydrocarbon reserves. An execution plan and increasing of the number of criteria are possible based on the above mentioned materials in order to identify possible recruitment rate of hydrocarbon reserves, while exploration venture.
