The procedure of formation fluids identification by analysis of pressure build-up curves, interpreted with the use of the composite model algorithm, is presented in the article. The procedure is intended for rapid determination of the formation fluid type while exploration.
Materials and methods
The authors found the interrelation between the slopes m2/m1 (Slope Ratio) of the corresponding straight-line sites in the pressure build-up plot and М/D parameter (Specific Storage Ratio, (?ct)1/(?ct)2), using the compositional formations modeling, characterized by two zones with various properties of the formation fluid. The total scope of the interpretation models is 54 options.
Results
The test procedure of the evaluation of model calculations and actual measurements (pressure build-up), proved the efficiency. A non-linear equation of the pair regression shows a complex of quantitative assessment of the relations between the test parameters.
Сonclusions
It is obvious that the steam-tightness performance of lightweight cement slurry with 5% of HGM or DHGM meets the modern waterproofing construction materials. The steam-tightness for all other formulations examined in this article is considerably higher than that of the stone formed from 100% oilwell portland cement. This is due to gas and water resistance of hollow glass microspheres and imporosity structure of lightweight grouting stone with hollow glass microspheres. Tightness of the cement sheath can be indirectly estimated from steam-tightness. Currently, authors of the article developed technology (technological regulations) and regulations (specifications) preparation and application of lightweight cement slurries with HGM and DHGM under production conditions of the Tomsk region.
