Calculations and experimental research of hydraulic properties of shutoff and controlvalve are presented. The throughput ability was defined based on test value at modular cluster pump station which is facility of "Bashneft- Dobycha" and in laboratory of MKT-ACDM.
Materials and methods
Method of calculation of hydraulic properties of shutoff and control valves based on Bernoulli's equation.
Results
Calculation method, calculation and experimental value of hydraulic propertiesof shutoff and control valve on eighteen gate position are presented. Obtained properties of gate could be include in it’s datasheet.
Сonclusions
1. Obtained formulas could be used to calculation hydraulic properties of shutoff and control valves including design stage. 2. Calculations in ANSYS allow to visualizeflow motion in valve and it confirm formula’s calculation results and outcome of experiment. 3. It is necessary to conduct further experimental research of hydraulic and cavitation properties to full opened valve position.
