The article describes the development of the water cut measuring device installed on the wellhead. Results of experimental-industrial tests of the developed water cut measuring device in the oil companies.

Bench tests, analysis of the results of field research.
Results
Device for measuring the water cut at the wellhead was developed.
Сonclusions
1. Developed device allows for continuous measurement of the water cut of oil wells with a frequency of once per 5 seconds, allowing you to get more complete information for the period of the study wells compared to periodic manual and automatic samplers.
2. Control over the dynamics of water cut will allow time to adjust the wells operation mode and to evaluate the effect of reducing the water cut after the EOR, or when the non-stationary well operation using.
3. Developed device showed a stable measurement of water cut directly at the producing well without preliminary gas separation.
