Monitoring of technological processes in petrochemical plants

Accurate temperature measurement is an important challenge for the specialists in enterprises around the world. Typically, temperature sensors are used to measure and control the temperature at the local point of process. But in modern enterprises, especially in the petrochemical industry for accurate process monitoring there is a problem of temperature control and read out from multiple reference points at the same time.
Results
Thus, considering requirement refineries simultaneously monitor and measure the temperature in several places of the tanks and reactors, the use of multi-zone temperature sensors has become an important direction. Applicationthis type of sensors solves a number of production problems, and simplifies sensor commissioning process and minimizes operating costs.
Сonclusions
As the prospects for the development of this area there is possibility of the development and use of multi-zone sensor of the thermocouple cable to the metalshell with multiple sensors in one cable. By using such cable is possible to measure the radial temperature at several points and in multiple layers in the reactor, which greatly reduces the number of fittings inthe body of the reactor. Demand for multi-zone sensors and the development trend of this type of measuring device, associated with the need to improve the efficiency of monitoring processes.
