Precessing transmission based gears for oil and gas machinery

The paper describes the gears of new generation for oil and gas pipelines valving based onprecessing transmission. Presented the kinematic and layout diagrams of this gears type. Their advantages in comparison with the existing designs are shown.
Results
Precessing transmission, which is generally conical with small interaxial angles, can be made with straight, oblique, circular, twofold convex-concave (TCC) teeth.
Сonclusions
Transmission with TCC teeth preferred because as compared to a circular teeth with thesynthesis of engagement [3], in the process that provides the required localization of contact, has fewer geometric constraints on the process cutting teeth circular cutter heads for gear cutting machines.
