Application of the method of seismic entropy to solve technological problems in the oil and gas industry

Method of seismic entropy is currently used for solving dynamic training and earthquake prediction. It allows identify a hierarchy of seismically active volume ofthe geological environment, responsible for major earthquakes, for the formation of gaps among different energy levels. In this paper we describe the possibility of using this method for the control of microearthquakes (natural and man-made) origin for the development of the control system of man-made deformities, fractures, displacements associated withoil and gas developments. The method can be used to solve technological problemscontrolling the dynamics of hydraulic fracturing for hydrocarbon deposits.

Results
Method of seismic entropy is based on the calculation of sustainable integrated and cumulative parameters, which can significantly increase the reliability of the results whenused in conjunction with traditional methods of seismic monitoring in the development of oil and gas fields.
Сonclusions
Propose the introduction of the method of seismic entropy, which has no analogue in the world, to control the birth of weak shocks with M = 4.0-5.0 natural and technogenic origin in the oil and gas industry. The system will prevent the emergence of such strainsat an early stage and take appropriate measures to strengthen the object and prevent environmental disasters.
