PseudoVSP and objectives of the wave inversion

The authors propose a method of data preparation for wave inversion task solution and obtaining of reference results of migration in selected area points. The method consists in the conversion of the wave field data from land 3D seismic acquisition data into 3D pseudoVSP. The method will be used in order to determine the parameters of elasticity of the medium (the inverse dynamic problem of seismic acquisition data) and inelastic parameters of frequency-dependent absorption in separate verticalsamples of the medium. This processing is based on a pre-built macro-model of the medium (the solution of inverse kinematic problem).

Сonclusions
Essentially simplifies the formulation and solution of wave inversion tasks.
